My thanks to Jeff for that award information. I had heard about the QRP
Canada award but I didn't know about how to apply or that there were
endorsements. It adds a little challenge to the RAC contest to try for all
13 in a day. And I need MB and NT for the basic award anyway. One of my
fondest ham memories was working Calgary on 80m SSB last year. I don't think
I'll join the Ottawa Valley club QRPers on Bate Island for the RAC event for
very long, but I hope to get there to say hello.

Jeff, is the QRP-ARCI award for high cumulative contest score for 2007
events in place now? I can't recall if it was just proposed or it is in
effect. I see today in TCA that you beat me out in the standings for the
Cdn. Contest Championship. Wait 'til next year...

    Happy New Year to all.

Bob VA3RKM (Ottawa)
