[qrp-canada] QCWA life member fee increase impending

   Just a heads-up to those thinking of becoming a Quarter Century Wireless Association life member. To correct a by-law oversight of 
longstanding, the QCWA life member rate will soon jump from $60US to $150. If you are not a life member yet, or a member at all and were first licensed 25 or more years ago, it would be a good time now to join up with QCWA and perhaps also to Chapter 70 (Ottawa), 73 (southern Ontario) or 151 in AB. The national website has links to local chapters (www.qcwa.org). I can provide info on the Ottawa group.

    PS: Jeff, I expect to be on for the SSB QRP ARCI event tomorrow. I don't think I'll have the K2 module installed by then so I'll use the trusty FT817. The K2 was outstanding on CW for the CQ 160m contest last week - 30 states.
