Depends what manual you have! If it's the 56 page service manual, you
can find the answer on page 45, step 16 at the bottom of the page, CW
sidetone: adjust VR10 on the IF board for desired volume. The IF board
is the one that has the crystal filter(s). (I'll send you a drawing by
separate mail to show where VR10 is, in case you have trouble finding
it.)
