RAC Bulletin

Recently an Internet Worm programme, a type of virus that spreads from
computer to computer over the Internet, has been circulating which purports
to originate with RAC.  A copy is attached below.

RAC does not report SPAM back to the originator and we have no Mail System
Administrator who would send out such a report to users of the e-mail
forwarder.  SPAM is dumped when detected.

If you receive an e-mail like this one please just trash it and DO NOT
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.  If you do, the worm could be installed on your
computer!

We have detected that your e-mail account has been used to send a huge
amount of spam during the recent week. Probably, your computer was
compromised and now runs a trojaned proxy server.

safe.
