Has anyone ordered from this company?

I am considering ordering the HL-100Bdx but I am wondering about the shipping method and the cost implications...
They have told me that they use EMS as the shipping method, whatever that is....Is it the mail system or a courier system?

Would you mind sharing your experience with me and/or the group.

My concerns revolves  around the taxes and additional charges; not pst and gst; those I can handle but courier surcharges and duties are worrying me. 

Last time I got a shipment from the US via courier {gosh I hate those guys} I paid 3.84$ in taxes and 18$ in import surcharge...... Yah, I know But he insisted that it had to be by courier....But I still got a deal.....

Finally: does anyone know the tariff number for an amateur radio amplifier?
