He will also be missed here in British Columbia. Derry was a regular
check-in 
on the 80 metre, SSB, British Columbia Public Service Net, and his big
signal 
proved that a few watts and a good antenna could be just as effective as
high 
power. He was a great example of the spirit of the QRPer.
